Bursaries

Bursary Information for the 2021/22 academic year

The Governors of Avenue House School wish to broaden access to the school by offering eligible parents means-tested financial support with the payment of fees.

This support, which is known as a Bursary, may be awarded in the form of a discount of up to 50% on tuition fees, depending on the financial circumstances of applicants.

During the academic year 2021/22 we envisage offering places to children who would benefit from the educational provision of the School, but who are prevented from doing so for financial reasons.  This support will continue as long as the child attends the school, subject to certain criteria being met relating to satisfactory progress, participation in school life, and annual reassessment of the financial situation.

To be considered for a bursary, children will be required to undertake an assessment to identify potential.  We wish to ensure that financial assistance will be offered to those children who show the potential not only to benefit from an Avenue House education, but also to contribute positively to school life academically and perhaps with other talents – in sports, music, art or drama – in order to further enrich the school community.

For further information please read The Avenue House School Bursary Application Process, the Avenue House School Bursary Policy and The Conditions of Avenue House School Bursary Awards.
